The first time I took a cold shower in Brasil on the missions trip, it was a shocker. After living there 6 months, I came to love cold showers. Though, I'm back to taking super hot showers here in the U.S. :)

I went to IKEA for the first time recently. It's an interesting store, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of the stuff. Some of it seemed really cheaply made, not very durable. Therefore I didn't buy anything. Cool, trendy place though... except for walking aimlessly in circles.

I love the flavor (like mango juice), but I'm not fond of the stringy texture. Kinda like I don't like coconuts much because of the gritty texture.
From: Amy @ 190.40.56.123 (Wed 12 Nov 2008 11:50:21 EST)
Well, you should definitely try fresh coconut then... it's quite slimy, not gritty at all. And for the strings in mango, if you actually cut them up, they are spectacular, especially a little bit frozen. :)

Desolate is the PERFECT word for the uninhabited coastal region of Peru. I would not hesitate to mention, ugly, dirty, plain to the mix of descriptive language as well :)
